I have an essential lifestyle. In other words, I love what I do, and I do what I love.
I’ve been a successful entrepreneur since I was 9 years old. I’m married to the most amazing man, and we have two great sons.
Loving what you do it is more important than what you do
Every day, I have the opportunity to blend my business skills with my extensive knowledge of health and wellness to help people learn how to use doTERRA essential oils to build a better life for themselves and their families — and that feels wonderful.
It’s sort of a meditation – exercise – relationship – business balance
I’m blessed because everything in my life is focused around creating more health, wealth, and wellness for myself, my family, and everyone I work with. That’s my joy, my passion, and something that brings me immense satisfaction.
I also love helping people and give back in ways that touch me and my family. My second son, Adam, was diagnosed with Battens Disease in 2001, which completely changed my life. At that point, I dove headfirst into learning everything I could about health and healing. I also needed to find a career where I could work from home and be close to Adam.
Since 2010, I have served on the board of directors for The Miracle League of Northampton County. We raised enough money to build a Miracle League Baseball Field serving over 200 special needs children in Northampton County and nearby area.
It took years of work to get to this position. And I have studied with some amazing teachers and learned more than I ever thought I’d know. Today, I hold a host of credentials and certifications:
- doTERRA Aromatouch Certified
- Living on Live Food, teacher certified Alissa Cohen
- T. Colin Campbell Plant Based Nutrition graduate
- Certified Health Coach, Institute for Integrative Nutrition
- Member of the American Association of Drug-less Practitioners
I Love to Play and Have Fun!
In fact, making time for play is one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself — even if it’s only 10 minutes a day. And “play” doesn’t require fancy equipment or a gym membership. Play is an attitude. All you need is a dog to take on a walk (like my Nala) or a friend to laugh with, or a deck of Braille Uno cards … You get the idea.
For me, play is walking, biking, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, SUP (stand up paddling), reading, yoga, travel — and most of all just being on a Caribbean Beach! (I am NOT a cold weather kind of gal.)
While I’ve always owned my own business, the work I do today is different. It’s on my terms, and I earn an income from sharing what I love — and I’m excited to show you how you can do the same.
