Spring is in the air, along with lots of drifting pollen!
I know there is one thing my family and I will NOT be caught without this spring and that is dōTERRA’s Triease softgels! These little miracle workers are the simple combination of lemon, lavender, and peppermint essential oil, that’s it! Before dōTERRA released the Triease softgel, which I will admit is extremely convenient, I would take a drop of each, lemon, lavender, and peppermint and add them to a teaspoon of honey for allergy relief! This combination works like a charm, and I have heard numerous times that other people have had great success!
Ask Dr. Hill what he has to say about using dōTERRA essential oil for seasonal discomfort relief!
Not only are Triease SoftGel’s effective, they are affordable! Purchase Triease softgels by shopping here!

Allergies are the body’s immune system over-reacting to normally harmless substances known as allergens. The immune system makes antibodies to protect you from bacterial or other infections but with allergens, even though harmless, the body identifies them as dangerous and antibodies are created causing a variety of inflammatory reactions. These may include skin disorders (rash or eczema), respiratory problems (hay fever or even asthma), or digestive discomforts. Allergens may originate from:
- Pollen from trees, flowers, grasses, etc. giving rise to the common hay fever.
- Hair, dander, urine, ect., from animals.
- Foods. More common in children than adults are reactions to various food types.
- Mold. When mold spores are present in the air they can cause an allergic reaction just as pollen and other allergens.
- Synthetic substances. Some have allergic reactions to repeated use of latex gloves, some cosmetics, other beauty products, and a variety of synthetic materials.
- Insect bites. Some develop allergic reactions after multiple instances of bee stings and other insect bites. (see Skeeter Syndrome)
The majority of folks will experience some type of allergic reaction in their lifetime. In most cases the symptomatic response can be helped or eliminated with essential oils. Occasionally there may be a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) which requires immediate medical attention. Read more about allergies and other health concerns on www.neweverythingessential.me
Do your children have Allergies?!
Some children that might be struggling with seasonal allergies that are too young to take Triease Softgels can still use essential oils to manage their seasonal allergy symptoms.
Add a drop of Lemon and Peppermint and Lavender to a teaspoon of locally made honey if it is available. Or juice is an alternative, if a child is sensitive to the taste. Take the mixture as needed, hourly would not hurt. If the child is old enough he could drink drops of Lemon, Peppermint and Lavender (allergy protocol) as needed. During day’s that pollen levels are high, have the child add the oils to his water every time he drinks.
For children, also consider applying the same oils to his feet morning and night. Also consider diffusing lemon, lavender and peppermint oils before and at bedtime in the bedroom. This will reduce pollens, and allergens in the room.
